BT International is hiring a Tools Infrastructure Associate to join its service performance, monitoring, and network reliability group. Operating at Career Grade F, this role functions at the intersection of Network Systems Administration, operational tool enhancement, and early-stage Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). You will manage the configuration, deployment, and optimization of monitoring, event management, and ITOM platforms that safeguard multinational network connectivity. The role balances core ITIL operational infrastructure support (RCA, capacity tracking, health checks) with next-generation automated code pipelines using public cloud architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.

Requirements:
- 2–5 years of technical experience in application support, network monitoring, or infrastructure operations. Must possess concrete operational and configuration depth in at least three enterprise management platforms (e.g., Entuity, SevOne, Splunk, NetBrain, NCM, or ServiceNow ITOM).
- Practical knowledge of VMware vCenter / vSphere environments to effectively monitor and manage virtual machine infrastructure layers.
- Deep understanding of network monitoring infrastructure fundamentals, including SNMP polling, MIB structures, OID mapping, Syslog parsing, and trap collection across Network, VoIP, and Security nodes.
- Assist in deploying software development lifecycle automation tools, frameworks, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines inside an AWS cloud ecosystem using GitOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), and container tools.
- Investigate system failures, execute structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA), perform platform health checks, and draft automated infrastructure tests to measure resilience and scaling tolerances.
- Proficient numerical skills to interpret statistical operational data, map out capacity trends, and format dashboard matrices inside Excel and PowerPoint to represent SLA performance.
- Maintain full compliance with standardized ITIL incident, problem, event, and change management processes.
- Proficient English communication skills. Strong problem-solving aptitude, an automation-first mindset, and the collaborative focus required to onboard new enterprise customers and handle vendor escalations.
